Become an SBGC Ambassador

Are you interested in hosting meetUPs in your city? Do you exemplify Sober Black Girls Club‘s values and want to represent the Club in your area? Apply to become an SBGC Ambassador! We’d love to have you! SBGC is currently seeking applications for proactive, community-oriented self-starters to host local meetUps in their cities.

Overview: SBGC Ambassadors plan and host at least one meetUp per month. MeetUps should align with SBGC’s mission of fostering connection, support, and empowerment among SBGC members. This is a voluntary role.

Ambassadors will serve as ambassadors for SBGC within their local community, embodying the organization’s values and mission. They will act as a point of contact for individuals seeking information about SBGC and its activities.

Qualifications: Proactive self-starter with a passion for mental wellness, sobriety/recovery and community building. Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team. Experience in event planning or community organizing is preferred but not required. Must be committed to upholding SBGC’s values of community, truth-telling, inclusivity, creativity, fairness and equity.
